D. Morton

Attorney Matthew D. Morton practices estate planning, probate, and real estate law, and has spent the past two decades dedicated to helping clients work through difficult issues. He is known for his commitment to making sure every client feels heard and understood, and confident that their attorney is their best advocate. He prides himself on being very approachable, accessible, and helpful to all of his clients.

He graduated from the University of Central Florida with a B.A. in Legal Studies and went on to earn his Juris Doctorate from the Florida State University of Law in 2000. He was admitted to the Florida Bar Association in October 2000.

Matthew has extensive legal experience in the following areas:

    Working with estate beneficiaries and executors in probate issues

    Overseeing residential and commercial real estate transactions

    Researching and analyzing complex regulations regarding creditors’ rights and general contract disputes

    Monitoring compliance of rules and regulations

    Assessing legal risk with corporate policy

While Matthew has extensive litigation experience as lead trial counsel in numerous bench trials, he has also built a solid reputation in the Florida legal community as a skilled negotiator.

Matthew is a volunteer baseball coach in the community. He is also a long standing member of the Florida Bar Association. He is licensed to practice law in the state of Florida.
